The Eagles are #3 in terms of betting odds to win Super Bowl 58 at online sportsbooks. We think they are good enough to, and probably will win Super Bowl 58 and here is why.

The Philadelphia Eagles will win Super Bowl 58 on February 11, 2024, barring catastrophic injury. A few months have passed since Howie Roseman’s NFL Draft. Every NFL team’s general manager would immediately sign up for Howie’s masterclass if he taught a class on general management through the Masterclass application.

After their narrow loss in Super Bowl 57, the Eagles’ roster was still quite strong as of this year’s draft. They lost a few players in free agency, have a few veterans nearing the conclusion of their careers, and had some requirements to fill on both sides of the ball. On Thursday night, they acquired two defensive linemen from the finest defense in college football. Drafting defensive lineman Jalen Carter with the ninth overall pick and defensive end Nolan Smith with the 30th pick addresses the upcoming void left by Fletcher Cox and Brandon Graham. Amazing night for the Eagles, who landed arguably the finest player in the draft and another player who was projected to go to the Eagles 20 positions earlier.

On Saturday, Howie traded into the early stages of round 4 to acquire another Georgia Bulldog, cornerback Kelee Ringo, who many had projected to go in the late 1st or early 2nd round. He then exchanged pennies for D’Andre Swift, a native of Philadelphia and former University of Georgia Bulldog. The team not only added extremely talented RBs, but they did so at a lower cost than Miles Sanders’ contract with Carolina.

Still, in the end, the Eagles have the same (or better) team than they did last year when they should have won it all, if not for a questionable penalty to lose them the game.
